Overview
Capital Centre, one of Nairobi's landmark shopping destinations on Mombasa Road, approached ORAI to create a modern visual identity system, festival banners, and campaign murals that would energize both the mall's physical space and its online presence.
The goal was simple:
Bring Capital Centre's personality to life — vibrant, welcoming, and unmistakably premium.
We developed a multi-format creative suite that aligned the mall's brand with the dynamic retail culture of Nairobi, delivering assets that worked seamlessly across outdoor signage, digital platforms, and event-specific campaigns.
Our Contribution
1. Brand-Aligned Visual Identity
We refreshed and modernized Capital Centre's visual expression using the mall's existing chrome-inspired brand aesthetics (referencing provided logo imagery).
This included:
- A unified colour palette for festival, holiday, and retail campaigns
- Clean, high-impact typographic compositions
- Visual systems tailored for light-filled mall interiors and outdoor visibility
2. Festival & Event Banners
We designed a full suite of campaign banners (Diwali shown in reference images) that were:
- Bright, celebratory, and culturally relevant
- Crafted for both large format print and social media
- Optimized for visibility across high-traffic mall areas and streets
3. Digital-Ready Marketing Assets
To ensure consistency across Capital Centre's digital spaces, we produced:
- Social media visuals
- Homepage hero graphics
- Key visual templates for ongoing campaigns
- High-resolution editorial-style mockups for internal presentations
4. Physical On-Site Branding
